Dreamachine International Film Festival is the fastest growing monthly film competition out there! Our jury consists of passionate and award winning filmmakers, actors, public figures, and industry professionals. We are also officially recognized by IMDB and winners will be listed there. Each month, our Jury will privately screen each submission and award the best films of the month. Competitions will begin on the 1st of every month and winners will be announced the following month. Special Recognition will also be given to the winner of the Best Picture(short film & feature film), Best Director, Best Actor, and Best Actress. The 24 Best Picture monthly winners will compete at a Live Film Festival Screening in the Los Angeles area for the chance to be crowned Best Picture of the Year! Best Actor & Best Actress of the Year awards will also be given. Exact Dates of live events will fluctuate.
What we’re looking for-
Dreamachine International Film Festival accepts films of any and all genres. We are film lover's and look to award passionate and creative filmmakers. We look for films that tell a unique and engaging story that not only intrigue and entertain the audience but Also love films that make the audience think and feel. Foreign films must include English subtitles (unless the spoken language is English).
Each Official Selection, Finalist, and Winner will be given an official Laurel from Dreamachine International Film Festival(DIFF). Winners will be given an official certificate of their win, along with a trophy(if purchased). Films entered in multiple categories may win multiple awards. Best Picture films are given the title of "Best of Fest" for both short and feature film categories and automatically entered into our once per year Live Film Festival Screening in the Los Angeles area for the chance to be crowned Best Picture of the Year! Best Actor & Best Actress of the Year awards will also be given. Exact Dates of live events will fluctuate.
* All annual winners will receive one free Dreamachine International Film Festival trophy. Other winners may order a statuette for themselves and their team.

The filmmaker/institution that is submitting the film must own the rights to do so and is responsible for the content they are providing. Furthermore you agree to the following:
-You agree to use parts of your film (including trailer/teaser/film poster) for promotional purpose.
- Entry fees are non-refundable.
- You must own all the rights to the film or have permission to use any songs included in your film.
-You agree to promote our festival on any and all social media pages
Dreamachine International Film Festival does accept the following:
1. Films by passionate filmmakers regardless of sex, race, or country of origin.
2. Films with nudity
3. Films that push the envelope or think outside the box
4. Films in other languages provided they HAVE English subtitles.
5. Erotic and Experimental Films
Dreamachine International Film Festival does not accept the following:
1. Extremist or propaganda content from religious or political organizations
2. Political films
3. Films which are made before 2015
4. Films with a poor production standard (bad sound, lack of subtitles/captions for non-English films, video resolution less than 720p HD)
5. Pornographic Films
By submitting your film via FilmFreeway you agree to let us use your submitted data to create what you have asked us to. All reviews will be published on our website and social platforms. You can also request the removal of your PROMOTIONAL review by the end of the monthly competition.
By submitting your film to our festival you agree that your piece of work (trailer, stills, poster, etc) can be uploaded/embed on our website. The filmmaker/institution that is submitting the film must own the rights to do so and is responsible for the content they are providing. By submitting, the filmmaker allows Dreamachine International Film Festival to create a page for their film without infringing copyright of any kind of form. Also, the entry fee and services fee is not refundable and we do not provide any feedback whether your project has been selected or not (except for paid feedbacks).
How does it work?
After all submissions are complete for the month and provided your film is not only accepted but also wins some form of award, we will upload/embed your trailer/stills/poster on our website and social media for all to see.
You will be given 72 hour notice that your film has reached the finals of our competition so you can post on social media. Dreamachine International Film Festival will announce the nominations for every award on all social media platforms we have. 3 days later(which is the last day of the month) winners will be chosen and announced.
Winners, nominees and unsuccessful films can be deleted from our website after the monthly competition ends at any time we choose without notice.
By entering your film for consideration for DIFF, you authorize that your work is cleared for festival exhibition and accept full legal responsibility for the intellectual property therein. Entry into the festival constitutes permission to exhibit your work online at DIFF. DIFF is also hereby granted the right to utilize the e-mails through which the entries were submitted as well as excerpts from any film submitted and accepted for exhibition at the Festival for promotional purposes. The undersigned shall indemnify and hold harmless DIFF from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney’s fees, and costs of the court) which may be incurred by reason of any claim involving copyright, trademark, credits, publicity, screening, and loss of or damage to the screening videos entered. DIFF DOES NOT PAY SCREENING FEES. By submitting your film via FilmFreeway, you acknowledge that the festival will not pay to present your work.
We reserve the right to omit a particular award if we didn't receive enough entries in that category or if none of the submissions met our high judging standards. If we deem it appropriate, additional categories of awards may be presented. All nominees and winners will have laurels and certificates sent to them. Winners may also purchase official DIFF trophies for each win if they so choose.
