We’re seeking powerful stories about women in tech and media—including those in AV, broadcast, and film—that challenge the status quo, ignite change, and inspire the next generation. Whether rooted in personal experience, imagined through fiction, or captured in a fearless documentary, your work shines a light on what’s possible—and your story belongs here.

This is a selective, mission-based digital competition and curated screening series.

Women represent roughly one-third—or fewer—of the professionals working behind the scenes in tech and media, despite driving some of the most vital innovation in these industries. The Without Boundaries: Behind the Screens Film Festival was created to amplify these voices, celebrate bold storytelling, and cultivate a space where women in this industry are seen, heard, and valued.

Finalists will receive a trip to New York City for a private screening and special recognition at NAB Show NY (October 22–23, 2025)*. This exclusive opportunity spotlights standout storytellers, offering connection with industry leaders and a celebration of voices advancing stories behind the screens.

In addition to recognition and visibility, winners will receive a monetary prize of $1,500, which may be awarded as cash or as a charitable donation to either the recipient’s school or NextLVL Learning, depending on the winner’s preference indicated at the time of selection.

*Trip includes flight, hotel accommodations, and NAB event access.

I was truly blown away Without Boundaries: A Behind the Screens Film Festival. The thoughtfulness, organization, hospitality, and passion behind this festival and its mission are remarkable. The festival is also selective with 5 finalists and intimate enough that every film receives the attention it deserves.

When you sit down to make an excellent film you hope to impact audiences in a lasting way. THIS festival, made a lasting impact on ME the filmmaker. The Without Boundaries Film Festival re-imagined the film festival experience for filmmakers.

We were given full travel accommodations, hotel and food. Museum tours, meetings with the sponsors, beautiful accommodations and a whole new world of film friends. In addition it was incredibly organized and the communication was seamless.

The five finalists approached the topic of women in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, Media and Broadcasting in a vast array of angles and visions. I learned so much from the topics and themes that the other finalists explored.

Please submit to this Film Festival and make the 2nd year as successful as the inaugural event.
