Devraj Joshi is a talented and versatile Indian actor, writer, and filmmaker known for his impactful performances in Hindi, English, and Bhojpuri films as well as diverse theatrical productions. He began his acting journey in 2017 with Hindi one-act plays and quickly earned recognition for his sincerity, stage presence, and emotional expression.
He received the Best Actor Award in Hindi Theatre for his outstanding performance in Mohan Se Mahatma and has worked under the mentorship of theatre maestro Bansi Kaul, founder of Rang Vidushak. Devraj has also performed at the National School of Drama (NSD), one of India’s most prestigious cultural institutions.
Over the years, he has worked in several acclaimed stage plays, including Mohan Se Mahatma, Senadhi (Hadi Rani), Arnyadhipati Tantya, Saudagar, Mare Gaye Gulfam, and Shortcut.
His on-screen work includes short films such as Lesson of Nature, Kashmakash, Eid Mubarak (2023, YouTube release), Khilawadi, Signature, Ek Kadam, and Antim Phasal. He also voiced the character “Gunda” in the audiobook Shootout – The Bihar Chapter on KuKu FM.
As the founder of DAJ Films, Devraj continues to build a space for meaningful storytelling that bridges stage and screen, bringing human emotion, realism, and social depth to every project he creates or performs in.He has also written and performed in his own stage play Shortcut.
