The 2022 Desert Edge Global Film Festival aims to bring the best of world cinema to the Thar Desert. Celebrating Diwali Festival, the third edition Desert Edge Global Film Festival will be curated around the theme of 'LIGHT'.
Welcoming films of all genres and lengths which reflect the diversity and the endless possibilities of 'LIGHT'
New this year: one evening dedicated to screening DOCUMENTARIES, also based on the theme.
And, a full program of international FILMS FOR CHILDREN as well as a packed schedule of films of all lengths and genres.

Jury Choice Feature Film Award
Jury Choice Short Film Award
Grand Prizes: two week artist residency - free accommodation, studio access, food, local sightseeing - for one of the creators/team members of the Award Winning Films.
Best of each category will receive a trophy.
