The DVF Showcase #2 is a celebration of filmmakers from the Delaware Valley held in the Oaks Center Cinemas of Phoenixville, PA. The theater has just upgraded their screens and projectors, so the films will be projected on the big screen with the highest of quality.

This one-night event features short films of multiple genres. All Filmmakers and guests will be able to interact with each other at a pre-event cocktail party and the post event meet and greets.

All films will be combined into a single, 2 hour program which includes filmmaker introductions.

ALL FILMMAKERS who submit a film will receive 2 free passes to the event regardless of acceptance in the showcase (a $30 value). We encourage participation from all members of the local filmmaker community.

Awards & Prizes

Audience votes on awards for Favorite Film, Cast, and Visuals immediately following the event. Winners an announced during post-screening meet and greet.

The winner of the "Favorite Film Award" will win a One-Night Red Carpet Theater Rental at the Oaks Center Cinemas (a $1500 value). Filmmaker may program the film of their choice. (Dates and times subject to availability)

Gift bags and complimentary tickets will be given to all filmmakers.

Rules & Terms

Submission are limited to filmmakers within the Delaware Valley (or adjacent areas). This is a filmmakers showcase, so the filmmaker or filmmaker representative (cast or crew) MUST attend the event for the meet and greet.

Please note the film's "Delaware Valley Connection" in your cover letter. Is it where the cast & crew are from or where it was shot or is the subject about the DV?

The purpose of this event is to showcase works of which the filmmaker is most proud.

Rules:
- Films must be between 2 minutes and 15 minutes long.
- There is NO restriction as to when the film was made.
- There is NO restriction in regards to previous screenings or release.
- Filmmaker may submit multiple films for a single entree fee. (This refund needs to be made manually, so once you submit your additional title, email dvfshowcase@gmail.com with this information and the lowest fee will be refunded)

- Narrative (Action, Comedy, Horror, Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Romance, Drama)
- Documentary
- Mocumentary
- Sketch Comedy
- Fan Films

Not Accepted
- Vertical Video
- Sponsored Content
- Music Videos (but musicals are allowed - if unsure, email us)
- Pornography

If your film is chosen to be part of the event, filmmakers will be contacted to provide a brief, 30-second to 1-minute video introduction of their film along with a digital master for screening.

All films and filmmaker intros will be combined into a single DCP master for screening at the theater.

    Great time at this showcase! Films were screened in a large theater and sounded great. Good mix of films and it was truly an enjoyable watch for everyone. Would definitely show something again at DVFS if they'll have me! Thanks for selecting "Untitled Floating Mom Short" for the screening!

    The DVFFS brought together a broad spectrum of talented filmmakers for a valuable evening where creatives were able to not only showcase their work before a live theater audience, but also interact with other local film producers. Hats off to the producers for the excellent curating and organizing of this educational and enjoyable event.
