SheMoney, in partnership with the Utah Film Center and Comcast NBC Universal, invites you to participate in the SheMoney Summit 2024 Short Film Competition: Dear Money... This competition seeks to highlight filmmakers' perspectives on money and how it connects to their life and the world.

The goal of this competition is to portray the various ways money relates to the day-to-day lives of everyday people. Relationships with money are complex, intimate, and often not openly shared. Money can be a source of shame and stress, yet it also enables us—it helps us create things, go places, or drastically improve the lives of those we love most. Bottom line: Money Matters.

Participants will have one month to create and submit a 3-5 minute short film responding to the prompt: "Dear Money…". We are seeking visually compelling, personal, and engaging stories of any genre (narrative, documentary, experimental) that explore money from a range of perspectives and comments on the impact money has on our lives.

A panel of judges from SheMoney, Utah Film Center, and Comcast NBC Universal will select the top films to be premiered at the 2024 SheMoney Summit: Money Matters, scheduled for June 6th and 7th. Audience attendees at the Summit will also have the opportunity to vote on the shorts at the end of the Summit, at the end of the day (approximately 5pm) on June 7th, 2024. It is requested that the filmmakers are present during that time.
