The Dead All Day Horror Film Festival is back for 2024 and we can't wait to watch your horrific, thrilling, spine chilling, mind-bending, body melting, heart stopping creations!

Our audience loves all aspects of horror and they can't wait to be terrified by your short films.

At Dead All Day, we thrive on originality and embrace the macabre. We're on the hunt for the best independent horror short films out there, regardless of budget. Whether you're a seasoned filmmaker or a rising talent or first time filmmaker, this is your opportunity to showcase your craft and leave a lasting impression on the horror lovers that attend our festivals.

Dead All Day is brought to you by Slumberjack Entertainment. We are a production company whose credits include award-winning horror shorts and web series. We live and breathe horror and independent cinema. It is our belief that the indie filmmaker is the heart of our industry and our aim is to give individuals and organisations a platform to showcase their work.

Indie filmmakers are the future of the horror genre and deserve to be celebrated!

Awards & Prizes

Best Short ( under 20 mins )

Rules & Terms

All films must have been completed after January 2023.

All films must be available to be screened in the United Kingdom and be free of licensing fees.

All films selected for the festival must be sent as an online screener which we can download.

International films not in English MUST be subtitled or dubbed in English.

There are no restrictions on when your film was made or if it is available online.

Rights
By submitting your film to our festival you agree that your piece of work can be advertised on our website and social media accounts. You must own all rights to submit your work to Dead all Day Horror Film Festival and you are responsible for the content provided. Any violations of that agreement will result in immediate disqualification from the festival.

Notification
All officially selected films will be announced on our website and social media pages. All of those selected will be notified through FilmFreeway.

Judging decisions are final.

Submissions that are found to have violated any of the Eligibility Requirements listed above may be disqualified at any time by Dead All Day Horror Film Festival.

    Plus, the programme covered a wide range of different approaches and styles within Horror genre.
