Danny McQ’s Film Festival, Tribute to Steve McQueen – The Ultimate Action Film Contest!
BAP America & McQueen Entertainment Studios presents The Danny McQ Film Contest, a tribute to Steve McQueen—the King of Cool and the inspiration behind the legend of Danny McQ. This three-phase competition invites screenwriters, filmmakers, and action lovers to create high-stakes, high-energy stories that embody the raw intensity of McQueen’s legacy.
The contest is based on the Danny McQ novels, a thrilling action series that includes:
Patriot Force
Design Patriot Dogs
Born Loser
Each book follows Danny McQ, a Navy Special Operations SAR rescue swimmer and master martial artist, navigating a world of danger, duty, and redemption. But behind the fictional McQ is a real-life legend—Danny McQueen, the man whose experiences inspired the character.
Meet the Real Danny McQueen
Danny McQueen is more than just a name—he’s a man who’s lived the kind of life most people only see in movies. A former Navy SAR rescue swimmer, engineer on Air Force One, Army Black Hawks, and Marine Ospreys, and master martial artist, his real-world experiences in combat, survival, and leadership shaped the action-packed world of Danny McQ. His relentless drive, no-nonsense grit, and unbreakable spirit mirror the very essence of Steve McQueen’s most iconic roles.
