Creepy Cheapy Film Festival – Official Submission Agreement
Effective Date: September 1, 2025
Festival Organizer: Pike Street Entertainment LLC dba Creepy Cheapy Film Festival (“Festival”)
By submitting your film (“Film”) to the Creepy Cheapy Film Festival, you (“Filmmaker”) agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Eligibility
Films must be 90 seconds or less in total runtime, including credits.
Submissions may be shot on any device — phones, tablets, DSLR, cinema cameras, etc.
Films must be a horror, campy horror, thriller, suspense, or “creepy cheapy” elements.
The submitter must be 18 years or older, or have written consent from a parent or legal guardian.
2. Submission Requirements
Submissions must be uploaded via Film Freeway
Films must be delivered in .mp4 or .mov format, HD quality preferred.
Filmmakers are responsible for ensuring they have all necessary rights and clearances for:
Music, sound effects, and score
Logos, trademarks, and brands
Actor/model releases
Stock or archival footage
The Festival reserves the right to disqualify any film that violates copyright or contains unlawful material.
3. Selection & Awards
Submissions will be reviewed by the Festival’s programming team.
A shortlist of finalists will be selected for exhibition.
One (1) Grand Prize Winner will receive $5,000 USD.
Additional awards may be given at the Festival’s discretion.
Finalists and winners will be notified via email and announced publicly on Festival platforms.
4. Rights & Ownership
You retain full copyright and ownership of your Film.
By submitting, you grant the Festival a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to:
Exhibit, stream, and distribute your Film on Festival-approved platforms, including but not limited to websites, social media, and streaming services.
Include your Film in Festival-related compilations, highlight reels, and promotional materials.
Use still images, short clips, and your name/likeness for marketing, publicity, and advertising related to the Festival.
5. Streaming & Digital Distribution
The Festival may make your Film available via free or paid streaming platforms (e.g., YouTube, Vimeo, Tubi, Amazon Prime Video, or other services).
The Festival may also package selected films into on-demand collections or highlight reels for digital or televised distribution.
Any commercial licensing or paid distribution of your Film outside of Festival-related programming will require a separate written agreement between the Filmmaker and the Festival.
6. Warranties & Representations
By submitting your Film, you confirm that:
You are the creator and/or have secured all necessary rights and permissions to submit the Film.
Your Film does not infringe on any copyrights, trademarks, contracts, or other third-party rights.
Your Film does not contain any material that is defamatory, obscene, or unlawful.
You indemnify and hold harmless the Festival, its organizers, sponsors, affiliates, and partners from any claims arising from your submission.
7. Liability & Limitations
The Festival is not responsible for lost, stolen, or misdirected submissions.
The Festival assumes no liability for any technical issues, streaming disruptions, or platform errors.
Submission fees are non-refundable.
8. Acceptance of Terms
By submitting your Film, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Submission Agreement.
