We are a small festival with a big heart and a $500 cash prize for the winner of the CAFF International Short Film Contest. We are on a mission to bring some of the best films and filmmakers from around the world to our “crazy” little town here in rural Texas to entertain and inspire our local film-loving community.

We've got a $500 cash prize for the winner of our International Short Film Contest. Your film can be any genre and up to 15 minutes long.

It's our audience who votes and decides the winner of the $500 cash prize and coveted CAFF title.

Past winners include:
- Evan Bogner and his short "60 Seconds, 60 Years Later" which provides a chilling, firsthand account of President John F. Kennedy's assassination from Joseph H Carter, who was a correspondent for United Press International.

- Austin-based Billy Cano with his William Clark Green-inspired spooky short "The Baker Hotel"

- Los Angeles-based Ruffy Landayan with his hilarious comedy "Apples To Affleck" on the perils of political correctness

‘DEAFinitely Different’ was honored to be invited to screen at this festival. Unfortunately, we were not able to attend, but the communication between the festival producers was excellent.
