The Cranford Film Festival will be virtual this year due to the pandemic and ongoing safety precautions. The festival will run from April 17 to April 25, 2021. As the festival will now be going virtual, we will hold multiple days instead of one -day to provide festival goers with the opportunity to watch the best in worldwide short films from their homes. While the ideal setting would be to hold the festival indoors, as originally planned, we hope we can accomplish our original goal of screening the festival films inside in 2022 when people have been vaccinated and are more comfortable..

For those who have previously bought tickets to the festival please hold on to them. Those individuals who have purchased tickets in advance , we thank you and want to alert you to the new dates, for which your tickets will be valid.

Sponsors: for those individuals/sponsors who wish to be a part of the festival we are extending our deadline to March 26, 2021. Please go to our site for more information on sponsorship. For those who have already contributed as sponsors, we thank you and appreciate your contribution for the new tentative virtual festival date starting April 17.

Festival Director Lew Goldstein said: “We are appreciative of the community support for this inaugural festival and festival goers patience and understanding as we want everyone to be able to fully enjoy the Festival. Therefore, as a matter of overall public health and safety we will be going virtual for 2021. We will continue to monitor health updates on the COVID-19 virus during the upcoming months. We hope to be able to gather indoors in the Spring of 2022 after people receive vaccinations and are again comfortable in an inside setting."

Watch for updates on our website at and on our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages for the rescheduled date.

Thank you for your continued support. We look forward to virtually providing the best in worldwide short films to you this Spring as we celebrate the inaugural Cranford Film Festival.

Such a well organized, managed and nice on-line festival that actually gave back to the Cranford community. A huge thank you to Lew Goldstein, Stephanie Levine, Pam Brewster and team for providing a platform for film makers to tell their stories. "The Heart of Camden - the Story of Father Michael Doyle" is honored and thrilled to be named "Best Documentary".
