Participants and Works
All the national and international producers and filmmakers who wish to participate, can register
an unlimited number of works, which meet the registration requirements.
WE DO NOT ACCEPT SHORT FILMS MADE WITH AI
The limit of duration is 20 minutes for short film.
Works may take place after January 1st, 2024.
There is no limit to animation techniques.
The required format for the screening is: .mov, .mpeg y .mp4 con codec H264.
There is no partecipation fee.
The shipping costs, via online will be borne by the person / company that presents the opera.
The deadline will be September 01, 2026.
Once the registration has been made, the film can not be removed.
It will be necessary to attach a minimum of two images of the film in JPEG format, with a
minimum resolution of 300 dpi and the film synopsis.
Movies in languages other than English will have to include English subtitles.
You hereby authorize the reproduction and transmission purposes promotional and archive of 20% of the work, up to a maximum of 3 minutes.
Copyright
The author, producer or distributor who registers the film will declare to be the owner, to have acquired or to make a legitimate use of all the contents of the film and of its copyright.
Cortoons Festival is authorized to project the work registered in other activities organized always to promote Cortoons Gandia festival.
Selection of works
The Artistic Direction of Cortoons Gandia will make the selection according to the criteria it seems appropriate. The organization will notify the results of the selection, before 05 of September 2026, only to the authors of the selected films.
Copies sent for registration will not be returned.
Diffusion of images
The images provided can be used in different media to promote Cortoons Gandia, respecting the conditions indicated in the form.
Acceptance of the rules
Participating in Cortoons Gandia 2026 implies the full acceptance of these rules.
The organizers reserve the right to change the rules in exceptional cases.

Los Participantes y las Obras
Podrán participar todos los productores y realizadores nacionales e internacionales que lo deseen y cumplan con los siguientes requisitos de la inscripción.
NO ACEPTAMOS CORTOMETRAJES REALIZADOS CON IA
La inscripción en el concurso es gratuita.
El período de inscripción finalizará el 1 de septiembre de 2026
Podrán participar todas las obras realizadas a partir de la fecha 1 de enero de 2024.
El límite de duración será de 20 minutos como máximo para los cortometrajes.
Podrán estar realizadas en cualquier técnica de animación.
El número de obras a presentar por cada participante es ilimitado.
Los formatos digitales de video aceptados serán .mov, .mpeg y .mp4 con codec H264.
Los gastos de envío de las obras, vía online serán asumidos por la persona/sociedad que se presenta al festival.
Una vez efectuada la inscripción, la película no podrá ser retirada.
Se adjuntarán un mínimo de dos fotogramas de la película (formato JPEG y resolución mínima de 300 dpi).
Se adjuntará una breve sinopsis de la obra en diez líneas de texto como máximo.
Las películas realizadas en idiomas distintos al castellano tendrán que incluir subtítulos en inglés.
Derechos de Autor / Copyright
El autor, productor o distribuidor que inscriba la película declarará ser titular, haber adquirido o hacer un uso legítimo de todos los contenidos de la película y de sus derechos de autor (copyright).
Se autoriza a Cortoons Festival a la proyección de la obra inscrita, en otras actividades organizadas siempre a promover Cortoons Gandia Festival.
Selección de las obras
La dirección Artistica de Cortoons Gandia efectuará la selección de acuerdo con los criterios que considere oportunos. La organización notificará el resultado de la selección, antes del 5 de septiembre de 2026, únicamente a los autores de las películas seleccionadas.
Las copias enviadas para la inscripción no serán devueltas.
Difusión de imágenes
Las imágenes facilitadas podrán ser usadas en distintos medio de comunicación para ilustrar los diferentes materiales de difusión y comunicación de Cortoons Gandia, respetando las condiciones indicadas en el formulario.
Aceptación de les bases
Participar en Cortoons Gandia 2026 implica la aceptación plena de estas bases.
Los organizadores se reservan el derecho de cambiar las reglas en casos excepcionales.
