As a proud Cordillera International Film Festival alum and 15+ year film festival veteran filmmaker, I can easily say that CIFFNV is one of the best film festivals out there. Period. Their attention to the filmmaker experience is unparalleled, their curated content is gorgeous, and their Board of Directors, Staff and Volunteers are all an approachable delight. I'm grateful to be part of the Cordillera family, and can't wait to submit my next project!

One of the best weekends of my life. The incredibly kind Cordillera team made me feel right at home. If you're on the fence about submitting to Cordillera, hop off that fence and submit everything you have!

My experience this summer at Cordillera International Film Festival 2023 was amazing! They made me feel so welcome and appreciated. The panels, judges, and networking...but especially the filmmakers who attended, were a wealth of creativity and encouragement. This was such a positive and enjoyable experience and my feature screenplay "Sugartime" won Best of Fest which was surprising (since there were SO many talented writers and filmmakers there) but made the whole experience that much more wonderful. I highly recommend submitting your project to Cordillera. I can't wait to return next year!
