- Any Foreign film that is not in English must have English subtitles.
- Not all the submissions are selected for the official competition.
- Filmmakers can submit the film in multiple categories in order to become a multi-award film.
- By submitting an application, you automatically agree with the rules of the festival.
- Cooper Awards has the right to use a trailer, stills and a poster from the films for promotional purposes.
- In order to submit a film, you must own the rights or have permission from the owner.
