ConGregate is a scifi, fantasy literary festival that has taken place in the Piedmont Triad area of North Carolina (currently Winston-Salem) for ten years. This year, the Film Festival returns for its second year with great films and even some surprises!

Rules & Terms

The ConGregate Film Festival is seeking new narrative features and short films that have NOT yet been released (or are scheduled for release) on any PAY streaming service or DVD/BluRay prior to July 12th, 2024. If your films are ONLY available for purchase on your own website, but NOT on any other service, such as Amazon, it is eligible.

Short films available free on Youtube, Vimeo or other media services are eligible.

Submitted content must follow standard decency laws.

    I was thrilled when suddenly I received a trophy in my mail for the Best Sci-fi Short Film Award, sent all the way from North Carolina to the Netherlands. No other festival has done this: sending a wood-carved physical trophy unannounced - what a wonderful surprise. Thank you for selecting and rewarding my Star Wars fan film "The Path of the Greys"!
