Comicron Film Festival

To be admitted, works must meet the following requirements:

• A comical or ironic theme
• Maximum duration of 20 minutes (excluding opening and closing credits)
• Foreign-language films must include Italian or English subtitles unless the spoken language is Italian
• Parts of your film - including trailer, teaser, film poster, extracts, and stills - might be used for promotional purpose.

The short films will be evaluated by a qualified jury composed of directors, actors, and media professionals.
The composition of the jury may vary with each edition of the festival.

Participation in the competition implies full acceptance of the regulations available on www.comicron.eu

By submitting the film, you automatically accept the following terms and declare that:

You authorize the Comicron Festival to publicly screen the film during its 2025 edition (September 19–21, Pontelandolfo);

You hold all rights, licenses, and permissions required for every element included in the film (including music, images, footage, and other protected materials), or have obtained all necessary authorizations from the respective rightsholders;

You release the Comicron Festival, its organizing entities, staff, and partners from any liability, claim, or legal action related to the screening of this film, including but not limited to copyright infringement claims or disputes over rights;

You understand that you will not receive any compensation, rental fee, or other form of payment for the screening of this film.

You release the Comicron Festival, its organizing entities, staff, and partners from any liability, claim, or legal action related to the screening of this film, including but not limited to copyright infringement claims or disputes over rights;

You understand that you will not receive any compensation, rental fee, or other form of payment for the screening of this film.

By submitting your film, you implicitly agree to these terms. If you do not wish for the film to be screened or do not comply with any of the rules, you must notify us in writing before the festival dates.

Con l’invio del film, si accettano automaticamente i seguenti termini e si dichiara che:

Si autorizza il Comicron Festival a proiettare pubblicamente il film durante l’edizione 2025 (19–21 settembre, Pontelandolfo);

Si concede al Comicron Festival il diritto di utilizzare estratti del film, immagini, locandine e informazioni relative al film a fini promozionali, in qualsiasi forma e mezzo, compresa la realizzazione e proiezione di trailer o clip promozionali;

Si detengono tutti i diritti, le licenze e le autorizzazioni necessarie per ogni elemento incluso nel film (comprese musiche, immagini, filmati e materiali protetti), oppure si sono ottenute tutte le necessarie autorizzazioni dai rispettivi titolari dei diritti;

Si sollevano il Comicron Festival, i suoi enti organizzatori, il suo staff e i suoi partner da qualsiasi responsabilità, reclamo o azione legale relativa alla proiezione del film, inclusi — ma non solo — reclami per violazione di copyright o dispute sui diritti;

Si comprende che non verrà riconosciuto alcun compenso, noleggio o altra forma di pagamento per la proiezione del film.

Con l’invio del film, si accettano implicitamente questi termini. Qualora non si desideri che il film venga proiettato o non si rispettino alcune delle regole, è necessario comunicarlo per iscritto prima delle date del festival.
