THE LARGEST FILM FESTIVAL IN ITALY ENTIRELY DEDICATED TO COMEDY!

In the heart of the Italian summer, amidst the charm of Puglia, the Comedy Film Fest shines as a premier cinema and entertainment festival. Over four days, the festival features four days of film screenings in a beachside movie theater, culminating in a spectacular awards gala on the final day. The festival showcases Italian and international comedies, complemented by music and entertainment.

The festival takes place across different towns in Puglia, in the area around Lecce, Italy.

Awards & Prizes

The winner of the best comedy films (one short film and one feature film) will receive:
- Premio Fronda D'Oro / Golden Branch Award
- Automatic inclusion in the "Official Selection" of FERRARA FILM FESTIVAL, our twin festival.

Rules & Terms

General Rules:
1) We accept FEATURE FILMS and SHORT FILMS from ALL OVER THE WORLD
2) The films must belong to the genre of COMEDY or with COMEDIC ELEMENTS
3) A selected film must not have a public release (theatrical, streaming, online) prior to the current edition of Comedy Film Fest.
4) We select films that are produced within 18 months from the festival's current edition.
5) Comedy Film Fest does not pay any fee to screen films in its official program. No exceptions.

Admitted Film Runtimes:
A) For Short Films. Maximum runtime 30 MIN
B) For Feature Films. Maximum runtime 120 MIN
