Cine Vista Oasis Film Awards is an international film festival celebrating creativity, diversity, and cinematic excellence across narrative films, documentaries, short films, screenplays, music videos, and more. The festival provides a global platform for storytellers from all backgrounds to showcase their work, connect with audiences, and gain industry recognition.

Filmmakers are judged based on artistic merit, technical execution, originality, and storytelling impact. The festival values innovation and passion, aiming to highlight fresh voices in cinema as well as established creators.

IMDb Qualification & Update Policy

Cine Vista Oasis Film Awards is an IMDb-qualified event and maintains an official IMDb presence.

However, the festival does not update or manage individual filmmaker projects or credits on IMDb. Since only filmmakers or authorized representatives can create and control their IMDb listings, all IMDb updates must be handled directly by the filmmaker.

Once a project receives its official festival status (Selected / Finalist / Award Winner), filmmakers are responsible for updating their own IMDb pages accordingly.

The festival will not create, edit, or submit IMDb credits on behalf of participants.

This policy exists because submitted film or screenplay titles are often not listed on IMDb at the time of submission. Additionally, only the filmmaker or an authorized representative can create or manage an IMDb listing. If a filmmaker does not already have an IMDb profile, the listing and verification process requires direct action from them. Therefore, all responsibility for updating IMDb credits rests solely with the filmmaker.

At Cine Vista Oasis Film Awards, projects are recognized according to the jury’s evaluation, artistic merit, originality, technical execution, and overall impact. The festival may present the following levels of recognition:

✓Winner
✓Finalist
✓Official Selection
✓Honorable Mention (if applicable)

•What We Provide

Recognized projects may receive:

✓Digital laurels
✓Digital certificates
✓Festival poster / social media recognition
✓Consideration for online showcase or annual festival visibility, where applicable

•Nominee / Finalist Clarification

At Cine Vista Oasis Film Awards, Nominee status is considered equivalent to Finalist status.

This means:

✓Projects shortlisted for the final round of award consideration may be announced as Nominees
✓A nominated project is considered to have reached the Finalist stage
✓If a nominated project does not win, it will still be officially recognized as a Finalist
✓Finalists may receive a Finalist certificate and/or laurel

•Recognition Benchmark

While all decisions remain at the discretion of the jury, the festival generally follows an internal quality benchmark when determining recognition levels:

✓8/10 and above – Winner consideration
✓6.5/10 to 7.9/10 – Finalist recognition
✓5/10 to 6.4/10 – Official Selection consideration
✓Below 5/10 – May remain unawarded / without recognition, depending on jury evaluation and category standards
