REGULAMENTO CINEMAZ 2025 – QUARTA EDIÇÃO

O CINEMAZ acontecerá de forma híbrida. O festival presencial será realizado de 21 a 26 de setembro de 2025. A premiação ocorrerá no dia 27 de setembro de 2025.

I - Finalidade da Mostra Internacional CINEMAZ:

- Divulgar e exibir obras audiovisuais de curta-metragem de até 30 minutos; de ficção, documental ou animação, com temáticas livres, produzidas no Brasil e no mundo.
- Promover ações de formação, debates e encontros.

II - Categorias Competitivas:

- Curtas-metragens nacionais: até 30 minutos
- Curtas-metragens internacionais: até 30 minutos
- Curtas-metragens mineiros: até 30 minutos
- Curtas-metragens infantojuvenis: até 30 minutos
- Curtas-metragens animações: até 30 minutos
- Curtas-metragens documentais: até 30 minutos

Art. 1º – Inscrição:
I. Estão aptos a se inscreverem obras que contemplem as categorias anunciadas acima.

II. Em respeito à identidade de gênero de cada artista, solicitamos no formulário, no momento da inscrição via FilmFreeway, a identificação dos possíveis indicados aos prêmios de 'Melhor Ator Principal' e 'Melhor Atriz Principal', deve ser preenchido o nome dos atores e de seus respectivos personagens. Bem como o nome de toda equipe solicitada. O preenchimento correto do formulário é responsabilidade de quem inscreve o filme. O não preenchimento implica em desclassificação automática.

III. Todos os filmes selecionados devem disponibilizar links de visualização do filme por YouTube ou Vimeo para a organização do CINEMAZ. Esta é uma regra imprescindível para a votação dos filmes.

IV. Os filmes infantojuvenis selecionados concorrerão na categoria em que foram inscritos, mas participarão de uma Mostra Paralela de Exibição, desde que autorizado pelo diretor/produtor.

V. Filmes vencedores na categoria Melhor Filme serão exibidos online na Plataforma Digital do CINEMAZ.

VI. Filmes internacionais devem ter legenda em inglês, em formato SRT.

Art. 2º – Prazo de Inscrição:

I. As inscrições são gratuitas e estarão abertas no período de 20/06/2025 à 20/07/2025, por meio da plataforma FilmFreeway. Dúvidas no email: cinemazfestival@gmail.com.

II. O responsável deverá preencher toda a ficha de inscrição, cuja submissão implica no aceite deste regulamento.

Art. 3º – Resultado da Seleção:
- O responsável pela inscrição será informado do resultado no dia 10/08/2025.

Art. 4º – Responsabilidade Civil:
I. O Festival não se responsabilizará por imagens e/ou músicas de terceiros utilizadas nos trabalhos inscritos. Todo e qualquer ônus por problemas de direitos autorais recairão exclusivamente sobre o diretor e/ou produtor do filme e/ou responsável pela inscrição.

II. A premiação será feita de forma presencial. O premiado que não estiver presente e não mandar um representante deverá arcar com os gastos para envio do prêmio.

III. Serão distribuídos 63 títulos de premiação no festival.

Art. 5º – Direitos:

I. A organização do CINEMAZ reserva-se o direito de exibição, sem ônus, em cinema, televisão, internet e outros meios de trecho (máximo 30") ou foto da obra selecionada, para efeito de divulgação do Festival.

II. Os participantes inscritos concordam em ceder gratuitamente o direito de exibição de seus filmes em sessões extras sem fins lucrativos, organizadas ou apoiadas pelo CINEMAZ, realizadas em qualquer localidade da cidade de Oliveira-MG e/ou Varginha-MG dentro do período da Mostra citada acima.

III. O responsável pelo filme inscrito autoriza a exibição do mesmo, no Cinemaz Clube, no ano de 2025.

Art. 6º – Disposições Gerais:

- Os casos omissos neste regulamento serão dirimidos pela organização do CINEMAZ, sendo a decisão irrevogável.

CINEMAZ 2025 RULES & TERMS - 4TH EDITION

CINEMAZ will take place in hybrid form. The in-person festival will be held from September 21 to September 26, 2025. The awards ceremony will take place on September 27, 2025.

I - Purpose of the CINEMAZ International Film Festival:
- To promote and screen short films of up to 30 minutes; fiction, documentary or animation, with free themes, produced in Brazil and worldwide.
- Promote educational activities, debates and workshops.

II - Competitive Categories:
- Brazilian short films: up to 30 minutes
- International short films: up to 30 minutes
- Short films from Minas Gerais: up to 30 minutes
- Kids and Family short films: up to 30 minutes
- Animated short films: up to 30 minutes
- Documentary short films: up to 30 minutes

Art. 1 - Submission:
I. Works that meet the categories listed above are eligible for submission.

II. In order to respect the gender identity of each artist, we ask that, when registering via FilmFreeway, the possible nominees for the ‘Best Leading Actor’ and ‘Best Leading Actress’ awards be identified on the form, filling in the names of the actors and their respective characters. As well as the names of all the requested crew. It is the responsibility of the submitter to fill in the form correctly. Failing to complete the form will result in automatic disqualification.

III. All selected films MUST provide YouTube or Vimeo viewing links to the CINEMAZ organization, only YouTube or Vimeo links will be accepted. This is an essential rule for voting on the films.

IV. The Kids & Family films selected will compete in the category in which they were entered, but will take part in a Parallel Screening, as long as authorized by the director/producer.

V. Winning films in the Best Film category will be shown online on the CINEMAZ Digital Platform.

VI. International films must have English subtitles in SRT format.

Art. 2 - Entry Deadline:
I. Entries are free of charge and will be open from JUNE/20/2025 to JULY/20/2025, via the FilmFreeway platform. Questions can be sent to: cinemazfestival@gmail.com.

II. The person responsible must complete the entire application form, the submission of which implies acceptance of these regulations.

Art. 3 - Selection result:
- The person responsible for the application will be informed of the result on AUGUST/10/2025.

Art. 4 - Civil liability:
I. The Festival will not be held responsible for third-party images and/or music used in the entries. Any and all liability for copyright problems will fall exclusively on the director and/or producer of the film and/or the person responsible for the submission entry.

II. The awards will be presented in person. The winner who is not present and does not send a representative must bear the costs of sending the award.

III. The festival will award 63 winning titles.

Art. 5 - Rights:
I. The CINEMAZ organization reserves the right to screen, free of charge, an excerpt (maximum 30") or photo of the selected work in the cinema, television, internet and other media, for the purpose of publicizing the Festival.

II. Registered participants agree to grant free of charge the right to screen their films in extra non-profit sessions, organized or supported by CINEMAZ, held anywhere in the city of Oliveira/MG and/or Varginha/MG during the period of the Festival mentioned above.

III. The person responsible for the submitted film authorizes it to be shown at Cinemaz Clube in 2025.

Art. 6 - General Provisions:
Any cases not covered by these regulations will be settled by the CINEMAZ organization, whose decision is irrevocable.
