Before graduating in film directing at the Institut des Arts de Diffusion (IAD) in Belgium in 2021, Félix Bach (Bach Hoang Phong) also graduated in animation at the Omega School of Design in Hanoi in 2012.
From 2012 to 2016, he primarily worked in post-production, particularly as a video editor. During this period, he gradually discovered “the director’s path” for himself and the stories he felt “compelled” to express through the language of film.
His films explore the complexity of family relationships and the essence of human nature. Particularly, he approaches romantic aspects of themes in a multidimensional way.
Noteworthy projects that earned him awards include the 48-hour film competition organized by Megastar Vietnam in 2011. More recently, he won the first prize in the national category of the Nespresso Talents 2021 competition in Belgium.
