-Open call for regional, national and international contemporary films finished between 2025-2026.
-Cinema Parallels don’t made delimitation in terms of genre and length (documentary vs fiction films).
-Experimental, interactive audiovisual works and video installations are welcome (limited number will be accepted)
-First film submission deadline: 31 July, 2026.
-Late film submission deadline: 8 August, 2026.
-Online Entry Form from FilmFreeway must be filled out by the submission deadline.
-Festival must be provided with the preview/screener of the film by the submission deadline.
-Festival accepts only online links for previewing (VIMEO or another platform - including an online link and a password).
-The streaming of a film at festival must be free of charge, the number of previewing must not be limited and the film must be available for screening till the end of August 2026.
-Festival will have the permission of preview links in its archive for research, promotion and educational purposes (preview agreements with filmmakers, producers, distributors).
-Participation in other festivals does not preclude participation in Cinema Parallels.
-Films may be submitted by the filmmakers, producers, distributors or other legal representatives of the film. The submitter of the film should be a person that has the legal right to negotiate the use of this work with Cinema Parallels
-Festival will inform applicants of its decision by mid- August 2026 by email to the submitter.
