Cinema Cappuccino is open to all film and video makers regardless of nationality, gender, political affiliation, genre, etc. We are inclusive and do not discriminate when it comes to accepting submissions. The film screening event itself is 18+ age-restricted event.
By submitting your film for our consideration, you agree to the following terms:
- You will allow us to use your film's promotional material (poster and artwork, trailer) for our festival promotions.
- You own the rights and license to all images, audio, talent, locations permissions in your film.
Each entry must be accompanied by the appropriate entry fee. Entry fees are not refundable.
If a film is selected, the Festival office will contact the entrant by phone or email. The Festival does not provide feedback or screening notes to entries that are not selected.
The festival organisers reserve the rights to change, cancel or re-schedule the dates and venue.
The organisers reserve the right not to award any or all of the prizes if the entries received are not upto the expected standards.
We will take our utmost care with regard to security and privacy of films, we will not be held responsible in the unlikely event of any leak or piracy.
We invite filmmakers to attend our event but travel, boarding & lodging will be at the expense of the filmmaker.
For award winners who are unable to travel to our fest, we can courier the trophies at additional cost.
All festival- and award-related decisions will be at the discretion of the jury and festival directors and are subject to change at our discretion so please keep yourself updated with the terms and conditions.
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS: Please send an mp4 (h.264 encoded), with English language, hard coded subtitles, burnt on-screen.
Films that are submitted must be the entrant’s original work and shall not infringe on any copyrights or any other rights of any third parties.
Participants agree that they have obtained all required permissions regarding music, sound and/ or images presented in your short film. By entering the Festival, the entrant agrees that 'Cinema Cappuccino' will not be held liable for any copyright infringements perpetrated by you or your film.
The 'Cinema Cappuccino' Festival reserves the right to not screen any film(s) for any reason it deems valid.
The entrants may also run the risk of being prosecuted as per the Indian Criminal Procedure Code and the Indian Media Law for any offence or infringement. Racial, religious and regional discrimination shall not be portrayed in any part of the film being submitted.
Affidavits of winners less than 18 years of age at time of award must be countersigned by parent or legal guardian. Affidavits are subject to verification by 'Cinema Cappuccino'. All the legal issues, if any, shall be under the jurisdiction of High Courts only.
'Cinema Cappuccino' organizing, selection committee members, juries are not allowed to participate in respective festival under the competition category.
Entrants will retain all ownership rights to their films submitted.
Any filmmaker, institution or organisation is strictly not allowed to use the name 'Cinema Cappuccino' and festival logo and Official selection laurel for any commercial, non-commercial, cultural or personal use without the permission of the organising committee. If any person or organisation will find to do so strict legal action will be taken against the person and/ or concern institution, all the legal issues, shall be under the jurisdiction of High Courts only.
