Ciak Weekend is a video contest, promoted by the editors of www.leggoscrivo.com portal, dedicated to storytelling and travel. The initiative is inserted in the event "Serenade to Frederick - Autumn Meetings" and will take place from Friday 9 to Sunday, December 11, 2016.

Aims:
- Rebuild the collective memory;
- Promote the places of Calabria through a cinematic narrative genre Free
(Short film, documentary, video art) to accomplish in a weekend;
- Promote experiential tourism;
- Promoting creativity and a reading of the very personal places, through the
audio-visual medium.

The competition is open to filmmakers and video makers who will have to make a video in 48 h in the town of Roseto Capo Spulico.

submit nominations no later than 24.00 on 1 December 2016.

The works created will be judged by a jury composed by the editors of the portal
Leggoscrivo.com and audiovisual experts, according to the correspondence to the theme and objectives of the competition, technique and creativity.
The jury's decision is final, it is therefore not allowed any kind of appeal.
