Chennai Rainbow Film Festival (CRFF) is a premiere Queer film festival in India since 2013. It is a not-for-profit event to provide a platform for LGBTQIA+ filmmakers to showcase their films and documentaries.
It received more than 5000 films from around the world and screened nearly 300 films in its last three editions. Chennai Rainbow Film Festival (CRFF) aims to provide a platform for screening the works of established and emerging film makers who portray lives and issues of LGBTQIA+ people.
The festival is curated and based on Queer thematic sections, some of which change every year to reflect issues that are gripping the world’s – and filmmakers’- imagination.

We do not charge any entry free neither charge the audience to watch the films in the form of tickets nor purchase any films. It is completely free for everyone involved.
