As a director, I create new performance-based work, nurture on-going, diverse collaborations, and explore the potential for that work to engage across boundaries—between people and cultures, between methods and disciplines. I work as Producing Artistic Director at Square Top Theatre and Professor of Theatre & Dance at Gonzaga University in Spokane, WA. My work has been supported through grants from the New York Council for the Humanities and the Network of Ensemble Theatres. Most recently, I directed Square Top Theatre’s documentary film "Koppmoll", experimental film and multi-channel installation piece "Laura, or Scenes from a Common World" and premiere productions of Damon Falke's Memory Cycle plays "The Scent of a Thousand Rains", "Now at the Uncertain Hour", and "The Sun is in the West".
