Charles Meunier is a British-French producer with a strong foundation in both creative and financial aspects of film production. He was selected for Film London's New Talent Strand in 2020. His debut feature film, A Million Days, a contained sci-fi directed by Mitch Jenkins, is represented globally by Signature Entertainment and has been screened at FrightFest and the Trieste Science+Fiction Festival.
Charles's career includes producing over a dozen short films, screened at more than 70 international festivals. Notable works include Sherbet, directed by Danny Gibbons, which won Emerging Talent at the New Renaissance Film Festival and Best Director at Brighton Rocks International Film Festival, and Whim Rules the Child and Weather the Field, directed by Katla Sólnes, an Icelandic co-production showcased at Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia.
His production expertise extends to accounting, having recently completed the NFTS Production Accounting for Film and Television course. Charles has served as a 1st Assistant Production Accountant on high-profile projects such as HBO's The Girl Before, and Netflix's I Came By and And Mrs, demonstrating a well-rounded skill set in both creative and technical areas of film production.
Charles was also part of the Creative Enterprise Reframe program 2024, supported by Creative Entreprise UK.
