1. L’associazione Helix Pictures in collaborazione con il Comune di Cecina organizza la prima edizione del concorso “Cecinema”, festival del corto sociale, del cinema ironico e del documentario positivo.

2. Per la Selezione Ufficiale del Festival, è possibile inviare documentari brevi e cortometraggi della durata massima di 20 minuti. Sono privilegiate le opere a contenuto sociale con particolare attenzione alle opere che riusciranno ad unire problematiche sociali e ironia attraverso contenuti entusiasmanti e positivi.

3. I progetti possono essere in lingua italiana o inglese. Si accettano video in altre lingue con sottotitoli in italiano o in inglese. I sottotitoli in inglese devono pervenire su file .srt separati dal video.

4. Saranno accettate solo le opere non coperte da diritti in ogni suo componente, pena l’esclusione dal concorso.

5. I lavori video dovranno pervenire tramite la piattaforma FilmFreeway.

6. Per la Selezione Ufficiale si accetteranno esclusivamente i formati, MP4, MPG, AVI o MOV.

7. Ogni autore è responsabile del proprio progetto video, sia civilmente che penalmente, nel caso in cui il documentario contenga immagini che ledono la dignità altrui o che violino la privacy di soggetti non consenzienti, l’organizzazione declina ogni responsabilità in merito.

8. Gli autori dei video selezionati saranno informati tramite e-mail.

9. Le opere finaliste verranno proiettate all’interno del Festival “Cecinema”.
Nel mese di Ottobre 2022, secondo un calendario che sarà pubblicato sul sito dell’organizzazione con largo anticipo.

10. La giuria, composta da almeno 7 persone, sarà nominata ad insindacabile giudizio dagli organizzatori di Cecinema, includerà figure appartenenti al mondo del cinema e decreterà il Vincitore del concorso. Qualsiasi decisione presa dalla giuria è inappellabile. Il pubblico presente decreterà invece il Premio del Pubblico votando i lavori video da 0 a 10.

11. I partecipanti autorizzano gratuitamente l’organizzazione alla diffusione dell’opera nell’ambito del Festival o parti di esso per fini pubblicitari ad esso correlati.

12. Saranno premiati i primi classificati dalla Giuria Ufficiale, più il Premio del Pubblico.
L’organizzazione si riserva la possibilità di conferire altri premi o menzioni speciali.

13. Il presente regolamento potrà subire variazioni, che saranno puntualmente pubblicate sul sito del Festival.

14. La partecipazione al concorso implica l’accettazione di questo regolamento.

1. The Helix Pictures association in collaboration with the Municipality of Cecina organizes the first edition of the "Cecinema" competition, a festival of social short films, ironic films, and positive documentaries.

2. For the Official Selection of the Festival, it is possible to send short documentaries and films with a maximum duration of 20 minutes. Works with social content are privileged with particular attention to works that will be able to combine social problems and irony through exciting and positive content.

3. Projects can be in Italian or English. We accept videos in other languages ​​with subtitles in Italian or English. English subtitles must be sent on separate .srt files from the video.

4. Only works not covered by rights in any of its components will be accepted, under penalty of exclusion from the competition.

5. The video works must be sent through the FilmFreeway platform.

6. For the Official Selection only formats, MP4, MPG, AVI, or MOV will be accepted.

7. Each author is responsible for their own video project, both civilly and criminally. In the event that the documentary contains images that harm the dignity of others or that violate the privacy of non-consenting subjects, the organization declines all responsibility in this regard.

8. The authors of the selected videos will be informed by e-mail.

9. The finalist works will be screened at the "Cecinema" Festival.
In October 2022, according to a calendar that will be published on the organization's website well in advance.

10. The jury, made at least of 7 people, will be nominated at the sole discretion of the Cecinema organizers, will include prominent figures from the filmmaking world, and will decide the winner of the competition. Any decision made by the jury is final. The audience present will choose instead the Audience Award by voting for the video works from 0 to 10.

11. Participants authorize the organization free of charge to disseminate the work within the Festival or parts of it for related advertising purposes.

12. The first classified by the Official Jury will be awarded, plus the Audience Award.
The organization reserves the right to award other prizes or special mentions.

13. This regulation may be subject to variations, which will be promptly published on the Festival website.

14. Participation in the competition implies acceptance of these regulations
