Casilino Cinema Fest

Casilino Cinema Fest – Visioni Fuori dal Mondo is an independent, experimental and underground film festival held in Rome.

The summer edition takes place at Casilino Sky Park, an open-air arena in the heart of the eastern suburbs — a cultural space dedicated to new languages and youth creativity.

The festival showcases short films, debut features, web series, music videos, short documentaries, animations, video art, mockumentaries, and everything that moves beyond conventional formats.

“Visioni Fuori dal Centro” is not just a geographical reference — it’s an attitude.
It’s a gaze that rises outside institutional, academic, or commercial systems. We value hybrid languages, poetic visions, and raw yet authentic gestures.

The festival is accompanied by live performances, installations, and moments of real exchange with the local community.

The festival judges will be: 𝐒𝐀𝐑𝐀 𝐏𝐈𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐋𝐋𝐈 (comic artist and co-creator of Miles Morales Spider-Man) and 𝐄𝐃𝐎𝐀𝐑𝐃𝐎 𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐏𝐏𝐀𝐂𝐂𝐈𝐀𝐑𝐎 (voice actor, director, and actor). The third judge will be announced in the coming days.

Open to filmmakers from all backgrounds, Casilino Cinema Fest aims to be a cultural space where art meets the street, technique meets instinct, and cinema becomes a collective experience.

𝐂𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐨 𝐂𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐦𝐚 𝐅𝐞𝐬𝐭 – Visioni fuori dal Centro è un festival di cinema indipendente, sperimentale e underground che si svolge a Roma.

L’edizione estiva si tiene al Casilino Sky Park, un’arena a cielo aperto nel cuore della periferia est, spazio culturale dedicato ai nuovi linguaggi e alla creatività giovanile.

Il festival dà spazio a cortometraggi, opere prime, web series, videoclip, documentari brevi, animazioni, videoarte, mockumentary, e tutto ciò che si muove fuori dai formati convenzionali.

“𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐢 𝐟𝐮𝐨𝐫𝐢 𝐝𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨” non è solo un riferimento geografico: è un’attitudine. È uno sguardo che nasce fuori dai sistemi istituzionali, accademici o commerciali. Valorizziamo il linguaggio ibrido, la visione poetica, il gesto grezzo ma autentico.

Il festival è accompagnato da performance dal vivo, installazioni, e momenti di scambio reale con il territorio.

Giudici del festival saranno: 𝐒𝐀𝐑𝐀 𝐏𝐈𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐋𝐋𝐈 (fumettista e co-creatrice di Miles Morales Spiderman) ed 𝐄𝐃𝐎𝐀𝐑𝐃𝐎 𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐏𝐏𝐀𝐂𝐂𝐈𝐀𝐑𝐎 (doppiatore, regista, attore). Il terzo giudice sarà annunciato nei prossimi giorni.

Aperto a cineasti di ogni provenienza, Casilino Cinema Fest vuole essere uno spazio culturale dove l’arte incontra la strada, la tecnica incontra l’istinto, e il cinema diventa esperienza collettiva.
