The Cascade Festival of African Films is the longest running African Film Festival in the United States. We are dedicated to showing Africa through an African Lens. We are primarily a non-competitive festival which runs for five weeks every February and March at the Hollywood Theatre and Portland Community College completely free to the community.

We are a non-competitive festival however all feature length films will receive a screening fee and a select number of filmmakers will be invited to the festival all expenses paid including honorarium.
- Filmmakers must be of African decent but do not have to be based in an African country
- Films made by non-African directors are not encouraged to submit
