  • This was the best year by far for my experiences at the CCFF. They really have it down by this point. Communication was terrific and staff was nice and knew where everything was. (Usually at some fests this is not the case)

Every single feature I saw was incredible. And the Fortnight Film Contest was a blast to be a part of again. This time I made a film for it and it won the Audience Award!

I look forward to it next year. For me, this is one of the best festivals in the state, easy.

Love this festival! I've had three films screen there and I will always submit here. Great communication and the films I saw were just phenomenal. It was a good program to have my film in and had a good Q&A.

  • Capital City Film Festival goes out of it's way to stand out from other festivals and provide a unique experience for the filmmakers it hosts. I had the best time meeting the staff, who are so clearly enthusiastic about creating not only a festival, but an experience to help foster and encourage creative minds. The venues are all intriguing locations that have been built into professional screening spaces and it gives the festival so much character. Could not recommend this place or group enough.
Definitely send here. Definitely attend here.

It is a wonderfully put together film festival. Fantastic events and a lot of warmth from the audience and the staff. I definitely recommend this festival to filmmakers and attendees. It's a fabulous experience all around.

Unfortunately, I didn't get to attend the festival, but the staff via email was very direct with what they needed from filmmakers and responded to emails promptly, confirming everything I submitted was fine for them. I will also say that their design and social media outreach is a lot better than a lot of festivals I have seen!
