Overall Rating
  • We were notified that our film was accepted into this festival by Film Freeway but that was the only correspondence we ever received. We would gladly have traveled to the fest to support the film, but we could never find out for sure when or if our film was screening.

This may be a good event for the people who attend it, but they are not experienced in working with filmmakers so I would not waste my money on the submission fee. It's a great concept so I do hope they work out the kinks in the future.

Thank you for nominating my short film, "Bruno, Maya and the Pothole" for a Barker Award in the Canine Comedy Category. Bruno and Maya thank you as well. They are the hardest working Chinese Shar-Pei dogs in the business. All the best to the Canine Film Festival team with future festivals and events.

I was unfortunately traveling at the time of the festival so I could not attend but the festival directors and producers, Laly, Lory and Karen were very hospitable and helpful. I'm so honored to have won Best Film 2017 and have our canine main character win Best Leading Dog!

I hope to attend the festival with another film some day!
