Loved this fest and the passion of its creators and programmers. I wasn't able to attend so I can't directly speak to the hospitality and networking abilities of the festival. But if it's as good as their communication, then I have faith it's a great all-round event.

Laly, Lori and Karen worked really hard to put together a fun event that includes great films and fun events for dogs and dog owners. I wish I could be there.

They kept me posted every step of the way, and when I couldn't attend they let me deliver a message via video to the attendees. BTW their audience was very active. I received several messages from strangers via facebook and twitter praising our entry. *Now, that's a great audience!

I'll submit again for sure. Great fest, better people, and dogs! What more could you ask for???

Was very pleased with this festival and their communication was quite impressive . I couldn’t attend since I had previous arrangements which took me away from the country therefore I wouldn’t be able to comment on networking . But I highly recommend this festival and am very pleased and honored to have my film selected and entered in the screening .

The Festival was a blast and a success! I got to meet some of the other Film makers/Directors, and they were all amazing! All of the videos were so cute, and everybody who put the Festival together were so kind and supportive.

  • We were notified that our film was accepted into this festival by Film Freeway but that was the only correspondence we ever received. We would gladly have traveled to the fest to support the film, but we could never find out for sure when or if our film was screening.

This may be a good event for the people who attend it, but they are not experienced in working with filmmakers so I would not waste my money on the submission fee. It's a great concept so I do hope they work out the kinks in the future.

Thank you for nominating my short film, "Bruno, Maya and the Pothole" for a Barker Award in the Canine Comedy Category. Bruno and Maya thank you as well. They are the hardest working Chinese Shar-Pei dogs in the business. All the best to the Canine Film Festival team with future festivals and events.
