This is a festival dedicated to short films & short screenplays. Trophies and certificates are awarded to the top 3 films and scripts in each category.
Takes place in Calcasieu Parish. This year it will be at the Brimstone Museum Annex in Sulphur, LA.

Awards & Prizes

The top 3 films and scripts in each category will receive a trophy and certificate.
The awards will be presented at the festival during our awards ceremony. If you win but are not present at the awards ceremony, your award can be shipped to you for a fee to cover packaging and shipping.

Rules & Terms

Films & scripts must be your original work and must have been completed within the last 2 years. Make sure you own the rights to all the images and music within your film before submitting.

    Though I was unable to attend in person, we were very happy that our short Documentary "DANCING WITH WAVES" won 1st in the Short Documentary category. Will definitely be submitting again. Great communication and a great community festival.

    Raph Seymour's film YELLOW DRESS won third prize in the Animated Short category. Communication was clear, and very friendly. Our friend was able to attend ,and loves this festival. I recommend it highly . Wonderful for new filmmakers, to receive affirmation and encouragement. WIsh we could have been there!
