The aim of the Award is to create a bridge between the world of design and the one of cinematographic art, which represents nowadays not just a form of entertainment and narration, but also a reality able to involve and educate everyone interested to the world of design in its different forms of expression.

The topic of the Award’s 2020 edition is Design for change: designing the change. The delivered works competing for the award will have to narrate impact and change, which projects can bring to human being and to the community. Through the study of a work, of a biography or most simply of the relationship between man and the surrounding environment. Design for change means conceiving the strength of change and make room for creativity, from which projects take life. Respecting the environment, the resources, the life and the stories of the places, where they assimilate. Trying to be a constant stimulus for the research and the study of increasingly sustainable shapes, materials and identities.

The Caesar Design Film Award to the value of €500,00 to the best short film of the selection, awarded by a technical jury composed of Ceramiche Caesar and experts in design, architecture, journalism and teaching.
