C.S. Film Festival

C.S. Film Festival is an independent short film festival. Riding on the wave of the geat success of the previos 2 editions, in November 2023 opens the call for submissions for the third edition of the Festival, which will take place in Bellinzona on Sunday, October 20th, 2024.
Short is good. Independent and economically viable cinema, thanks to the possibilities of wide dissemination at low cost offered by social media, is increasingly liked.
A phenomenon, which in the financial field has been christened the "long tail," allows "niche" film products made at low cost, but well-crafted and able to speak to the audience's heart, to shatter viewing records, surpassing, in the long run, the popularity of the blockbusters.
Carlo Sortino, a multifaceted filmmaker, much followed on social media and by young people, has always self-produced and realized his own films. In the full maturity of his career, he decided to celebrate a grand Feast of Cinema, devoted to short films and clips, which rewards and encourages the miraculous flicker of what art and originality can achieve even outside the institutional schemes and with sustainable means.
