The CSFCCA International AI Film Festival is dedicated to discovering and celebrating original, artistically accomplished, and forward-looking screen works of the AI era. The festival serves as an international platform connecting creators, the film industry, visual arts, and emerging technologies.

Artificial intelligence is transforming the way moving images are created. Yet we believe the true value of a work lies not merely in the technology behind it, but in the creator’s ability to use new tools to develop a distinctive visual language, expand cinematic storytelling, and express meaningful ideas with emotional depth and artistic vision.

The festival welcomes submissions from creators around the world, including narrative shorts, animation, music videos, experimental films, concept trailers, commercials, and innovative visual projects created with the support of AI technologies.

CSFCCA AIFF Fall 2026 will include an international online submission and jury evaluation process, followed by an in-person official screening and industry exchange event in Taiwan. The event may include selected film screenings, festival presentations, jury and award recognition, discussions on AI-powered filmmaking, and professional exchange activities.

A Distinguished Cross-Disciplinary Jury

The CSFCCA International AI Film Festival brings together an invited jury panel comprising experienced film industry professionals and notable figures from a range of creative and professional fields.

Through a cross-disciplinary perspective, the jury considers not only technical execution, but also directorial vision, storytelling, visual aesthetics, originality, artistic impact, and future potential. Each selected work is evaluated for its overall artistic achievement, creative perspective, and innovative value.

Our aim is to recognize creators with a compelling artistic voice and to provide outstanding works with broader international visibility.

🔴GOLDEN MARS GRAND PRIZE🔴
The Golden Mars Grand Prize is the highest annual honor presented by the CSFCCA International AI Film Festival.

The festival holds quarterly award selections throughout the year. Outstanding works recognized during each quarterly edition may be shortlisted for the annual competition and considered for the Golden Mars Grand Prize.

The annual jury will evaluate shortlisted works based on artistic achievement, creative innovation, cinematic storytelling, visual execution, meaningful use of AI technology, and overall impact.

The recipient of the annual Golden Mars Grand Prize will receive one complimentary official CSFCCA award statuette. Other award winners may also order additional statuettes for themselves or their team members. Each statuette is available for USD 299, including shipping.

All award winners will receive an official CSFCCA International AI Film Festival Certificate of Achievement in recognition of their creative accomplishments.

Selected works that receive particular recognition from the jury may be considered for further industry exposure. Outstanding creators may have the opportunity to present their projects to film and audiovisual industry professionals for potential pitching, development, or future collaboration opportunities.

These opportunities are subject to project suitability and the interests of the relevant industry partners.

Rules & Terms

By submitting a project to the CSFCCA International AI Film Festival, the entrant confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to the following rules and terms.

📣ELIGIBILITY
1. Submitted works must be original screen-based projects in which artificial intelligence tools or technologies have been meaningfully used in at least 50% of the overall production process or final visual content. Certain award categories may require a higher level of AI involvement, including 100% AI-generated or AI-produced visual content, as specified in the individual category rules.

2. AI technology must play a meaningful role in the creative development or production process. Projects with only minimal, incidental, decorative, or non-essential use of AI are not eligible and should not be submitted.

3. Submitted works must have been completed on or after June 1, 2025.

4. The festival welcomes submissions from creators worldwide, without restriction by country or region.

5. Submissions may be made by individual creators, production teams, companies, or authorized representatives.

6. Unless otherwise stated for a specific category, works that have previously been screened or published remain eligible for submission.

🎟️SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
1. Submitted films must have a minimum resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels.

2. Entrants must provide a working online screener through FilmFreeway.

3. Films containing non-English dialogue, narration, or essential on-screen text must include accurate and complete English subtitles. English-language films are encouraged to include English subtitles. Films without dialogue, narration, or essential on-screen text are not required to provide subtitles.

4. Entrants are responsible for ensuring that all screening links, files, passwords, subtitles, and supporting materials remain accessible throughout the evaluation period.

5. Entrants may submit multiple works. If a project is entered into more than one award category, each category must be submitted separately through FilmFreeway, with the applicable submission fee.

6. Submission fees are non-refundable once a project has been submitted through FilmFreeway.

✨IN-PERSON SCREENING AND INDUSTRY EXCHANGE EVENT
CSFCCA AIFF Fall 2026 will include an in-person official screening and industry exchange event in Taiwan. Selected or awarded works may be presented, screened, or highlighted during the event.

The event may include selected film screenings, festival presentations, jury and award recognition, discussions on AI-powered filmmaking, and professional exchange activities with creators and industry guests.

As an international festival, filmmakers and award winners are not required to attend in person. Official results will also be announced online. Digital certificates and laurels will be delivered electronically. Physical statuettes, where applicable or ordered, may be shipped to winners.

📋RIGHTS, OWNERSHIP, AND LEGAL AUTHORIZATION
1. Entrants must own or control all necessary rights to the submitted work and confirm that the work does not infringe any third-party rights.

2. Entrants are solely responsible for any rights-related claims or disputes arising from the submitted work.

3. The organizer may request additional information regarding rights or authorization if necessary.

🎥PROMOTIONAL AUTHORIZATION
By submitting a project, entrants grant the CSFCCA International AI Film Festival and its organizer a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use the submitted work and related materials for festival-related promotional, screening, exhibition, and showcase purposes.

Such use may include public screenings, festival presentations, exhibitions, website and social media posts, press and marketing materials, award announcements, edited excerpts, highlight reels, festival recap videos, and showcase videos.

Entrants retain the copyright and ownership of their submitted works.

👥CONTENT STANDARDS AND JUDGING PRINCIPLES
1. The festival respects artistic freedom. However, works that promote hatred, discrimination, extremism, violence, political propaganda, religious advocacy, or organizational propaganda are not eligible and should not be submitted.

2. All eligible submissions will be reviewed by the festival selection committee and jury. Evaluation may take into account artistic achievement, originality, storytelling, visual execution, the meaningful use of AI technology, and overall impact.

3. Official results will be announced by the organizer. As the selection process involves comparative evaluation and professional judgment, individual scores or feedback will generally not be provided.

4. Where appropriate, the organizer may move a submission to a more suitable category .

5. Selections, nominations, recognitions, and awards will be determined based on the jury’s professional evaluation of each category. Submission does not automatically guarantee selection, nomination, recognition, or an award. The festival may choose not to present an award in a category if the submitted works do not sufficiently meet the festival’s standards for artistic achievement, creative originality, technical execution, or overall impact.

🪐ORGANIZER RIGHTS
1. The organizer reserves the right to disqualify any submission containing false, incomplete, misleading, or unauthorized information.

2. The organizer reserves the right to amend, update, or adjust these rules where necessary. Any revisions will take effect upon publication on the official festival page.

3. In the event of circumstances beyond the organizer’s reasonable control, the organizer reserves the right to postpone, modify, or cancel any part of the festival activities.
