CEME-DOC is an international contest that encourages and shows non-fiction movies about migrations and exiles subjects. The objective of this contest is to open an opportunity area of non-fiction movies in order to be the cinematographic reference of the future studies and reflections about the world’s migration and exiles.

The best documentary will be awarded with 2000€ and a statuette.

1. About CEME-DOC
CEME-DOC is an international contest that encourages and shows non-fiction movies about migrations and exiles subjects

2. Dates
CEME-DOC will be hold in Ciudad de Mexico, in November, 2019.

3. Contest categories
It is established a unique category of documentary films from all around the world. Criteria of minimum duration are not established.

4. General conditions
The registrations to participate on CEME-DOC are open to films produced since January 1st 2017.

For the selection stage, the filmmakers, producers or distributors can send their works by two means:

b) Through the registration form, in which a private link will be included (with password, if required)

5. Language
Spanish is the official language. Movies in another language must be subtitled in Spanish.

6. Jury
Personalities of the national and international audiovisual media, arts and culture world will form the jury.

People directly related with the films in competition are not allowed to be on the jury.

The jury verdict will be unappealable.

7. Prizes
The best documentary will be awarded with 2000€ and a statuette.

8. Rules & Terms conditions acceptance- Rights cession
The contestants will answer of the authorship and originality of every content. The Contest Board is not responsible before third parties about the objections that may arise for any cause, according to the authors’ rights.

After the invitation acceptance of one of the competitive sections, the films cannot be removed of the Festival program.

9. Reception deadline
The participation and sending of the audiovisual works to the contest end on October 13, 2019

10.Mediateca- CEME
If the authors authorize, the audiovisual works will be part of the Virtual Media library of CEME/UNED(http://www.cemeuned.org/mediateca.html) which institutionally will take care of their use and can show them for the former mentioned purposes, and always according to the broadcasting and promotion criteria previously established with their authors.
