AI-made videos reshape our relationship with images. A vast new horizon for creation has opened and it is just a prompt away.

CloudWalk Studios invites videomakers worldwide to take part in CloudWalk AI Shorts Festival, a space to imagine the future of audiovisual storytelling and experiment with new creative forms.

We welcome short films between 1 and 10 minutes, created using AI tools in any part of the process.

The selected works will be presented on a big screen, and the top three films will receive awards. A distinguished jury of filmmakers and audiovisual professionals will select the winners.

The festival takes place in São Paulo (Brazil), November 14th, 2025.

Submit your film until October 10th, 2025.

Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place:

1st place: BRL 8400

2nd place: BRL 4200

3rd place: BRL 2100

The ten best films may receive additional prizes, such as access to video platforms (to be confirmed soon).

Award Criteria:
The jury will evaluate submissions based on the following criteria:

a.
Creative Use of AI: How inventively and meaningfully AI technologies are integrated into the filmmaking process. This includes AI-generated visuals, scripts, editing, sound design, or conceptual frameworks.

b.
Originality and Artistic Vision: The uniqueness of the concept, narrative, or aesthetic approach, and how it reflects an individual or collective artistic voice.

c.
Technical Execution: The overall production quality, including coherence, editing, sound, and visual impact, regardless of whether AI or traditional tools were used.

d.
Thematic Relevance: How the work engages with the theme of artificial intelligence, whether through direct commentary, experimentation, or speculative imagination.

e.
Emotional or Intellectual Impact: The ability of the video to move, provoke, or stimulate reflection in the viewer.

f.
Clarity of Concept and Intent: How clearly the creators’ ideas are conveyed, either through the video itself or accompanying materials (such as synopsis or artist statement).

g.
Experimental Risk and Innovation: The extent to which the project takes creative risks or explores unconventional uses of AI in storytelling or aesthetics.

By submitting your film, you grant the AI Film Festival the right to screen your film during the festival dates and to use it for promotional purposes related to the festival.

It was amazing to be part of this festival. I couldn't attend, but communication with the organizers was always very efficient and friendly. Thank you for the third prize for 'Dark, Light, Yellow'! :)
