CAA’s Celebrating Abilities Virtual Film Festival is a joyous celebration featuring short local, national and international films by, for and about persons with differing abilities. We are an inclusive college for students with differing abilities.

Last year's film festival we had over 40 films participate in our event from all over the world.

We host a kick-off event for the students at our college. We stream the films for an entire week until our closing event where a selection of filmmakers and production companies join us virtually to answer some questions about their films with us.

Last year, our featured guest of our festival was Pixar, where they shared films with us about differing abilities and answered questions at our closing ceremony.

This film festival is an inclusive experience so everybody has the opportunity to share their voice and story!

Rules & Terms

Films need to be uplifting and appropriate for all audiences (no bad language, violence or suggestive content) and preferably less than 20 minutes in length.

We want to focus our attention on films that are by, for and about differing abilities.
