Food is a powerful force that brings people together, creates community, and offers us connection. Food is not just sustenance, it is nourishment, tradition, celebration, memories, and culture. Food can be nostalgia which transports us to other times, places, and even our childhood.

Our goal is to bring stories about diverse cultures and cuisines as it reflects our community and our shared humanity. We welcome films about the people who grow food, prepare it, devour it, and cherish it. Animated shorts, documentaries, features and short films are welcomed!

Whether it is the behind the scenes operations at a farm, restaurant, culinary school and the people devote their lives to it. What we eat and who we eat with. Bring your best dish to our inaugural Burien Food Film Festival!
