Bruno Mauricio Rodrigues de Oliveira, known by his stage name Bruno Rodrigues, was born on October 4, 1986, in São Bernardo do Campo, Brazil. From an early age, Bruno developed a deep passion for storytelling, whether through films or literature. At just 12 years old, he began his journey in amateur theater, where his talent was recognized over the years with awards for Best Actor and Best Supporting Actor. At 14, he competed in and won an international award for contemporary student poetry.
However, due to financial challenges, Bruno had to step away from his artistic dreams and pursued a degree in Sports Science, although he never worked in the field. In 2021, at the age of 35, he made a bold move, relocating from São Paulo to Europe, initially settling in Ireland. There, Bruno reignited his passion for the arts and produced his first film, a drama based on his own life story. He took on multiple roles in this project, serving as the writer, director, producer, and lead actor.
The film garnered Bruno several awards, including Best Trailer and Best LGBTQ+ Film, marking a significant turning point in his career. His company, Black Screen Entertainment, which began as a small idea in his garage, has since grown and made its way to the big screen. Currently, Bruno is working on an ambitious saga consisting of five films, exploring themes such as the Cold War, espionage, human trafficking, and a blend of drama and action, divided across four interconnected stories.
