The 3rd Annual Bright Ideas Film Festival will provide a public showcase for student filmmakers, both high school, and college. Access to a public platform will encourage student filmmakers to continue to pursue their passion for film. All selected films will be screened in front of a live audience at the Somersville Towne Center in Antioch, CA.

**Update: We are now also taking submissions from all CA Bay Area Filmmakers. If you are a Filmmaker in the California Bay Area, you no longer need to be a student.***

Awards will be presented in two categories, Family-Friendly Films and Mature Themed Films for Best Performance, Best Editing, Best Cinematography, Best Directing, and Best Screenplay at each respective level along with an Audience Choice Award.

All films must be produced exclusively by students unless you are a filmmaker in the CA Bay Area. Films may be no longer than 12 minutes and must have copyright privileges for all material used.
