The second annual Bright Ideas Film Festival aims to provide a public showcase for student filmmakers. It is our hope that access to public platforms will encourage student filmmakers to continue to pursue their passion for film. All selected films will be screened at the Somersville Towne Center in Antioch, CA.

Awards & Prizes

Awards will be presented in two categories, High School and Jr College films for Best Performance, Best Editing, Best Cinematography, Best Directing, and Best Screenplay at each respective level. There will also be an Audience Choice Award.

Rules & Terms

All films must be produced exclusively by students. Films may be no longer than 12 minutes and must have copyright privileges for all material used.
