Brian Plow is a filmmaker and educator, who received his MFA in Film from Ohio University. Brian’s works as a director and cinematographer have been exhibited in festivals throughout North America, and achievements include an Honorable Mention in the American Society of Cinematographers Conrad Hall Heritage Award for Waterlilies. Brian’s documentary films have also been featured at festivals, conferences and public television broadcasts. Brian produced and edited The Veterans’ Project, which features narration by Gary Sinise. The Veterans' Project premiered at the Columbus International Film and Animation Festival and won Best Documentary Feature in the Angeles Documentary Film Festival and the Broadcast Education Association Convention. Brian Plow is currently the Director of The Center for Digital Cinema in the Scripps College of Communication and leads the narrative production sequence in the School of Media Arts and Studies at Ohio University, where he teaches and practices in virtual cinema production techniques.
