Brazil New Visions Film Fest

Art. 1 - Filmmakers from all over the world are invited to submit films.
Art. 2 - Applications are accepted exclusively through FilmFreeway.
Art. 3 - Registration fees are non-refundable.
Art. 4 - Films MUST include subtitles in English (unless Portuguese is spoken)
Art. 5 - Films must have been produced after January 1, 2018.
Art. 6 - All filmmakers will be notified by email through FilmFreeWay.
Art. 7 - All winners, official selections and finalists will be contacted and will receive laurels and certificates. Everything will also be listed on our website and social networks.
Art. 8 - Short films must not exceed 30 minutes in length, including credits.
Art. 9 - Feature films must have a minimum duration of 50 minutes.
Art. 10 - Applications in the category of Students must be accompanied by an identification document proving their status as a student.
Art. 11 - We will hold closed exhibitions for the Jury at a place and date to be arranged, in the city of Recife, state of Pernambuco, Brazil.
Art. 12 - Films containing pornography, incitement to fascism, advertising material or propaganda are not allowed.
Art. 13 - There is no strict rule for premieres. All works are accepted.
Art. 14 - BNVIFF will not be responsible for any unauthorized inclusion of any content or material protected by copyright and/or trademark within or related to the submitted project, including any content or material that is or may become the basis of any claim of third parties for copyright and/or trademark infringement, trademark dilution or unfair competition. It is the sole responsibility of the uploader to obtain permission from the rights holders of any and all copyrighted and/or trademarked content or material included in the film.
Art. 15 - The festival reserves the right to use excerpts from it (trailer/teaser/poster/stills) for promotional purposes only. Under no circumstances will we make your film available online.
Art. 16 - They grant full and unrestricted permission for BNVIFF to screen the film/video at times of the festivals.
Art. 17 - The director, or producer, accepts and understands that the festival will do everything possible to present the video in the best possible manner.
Art. 18 - By submitting your project you declare that you have read, understood and accepted all rules & terms.
