Bobritsa village (Ukraine) film festival embraces features, short films, documentaries, animations and student works either with plots taking place in small towns, villages and any other type of small communities (like clubs, festivals, even families etc) worldwide (including outer space) or mostly shot in such locations.

But, please, do not self-limit yourself and feel free to submit your film if you would like to join Bobritsa film community!

For each category we especially welcome films shot using smart phones, drones and other gadgets along with conventional professional approach.

The program includes opening ceremony, film screenings and award ceremony.

Rules & Terms

- Films must have been completed after January 1, 2023.

- BFF will not consider previously submitted films.

- BFF presents all films in their original language. English subtitles are required for all films produced in any other language except English, Ukrainian and Russian. For the public live screening at the Festival films might need Ukrainian subtitles (depends on upcoming government regulations). Films in Ukrainian language may be accepted without subtitles.

- BFF does not accept works in progress.

- All films under 40 minutes are considered short films.

- For programming consideration, the festival only accepts online screeners (FilmFreeway or Vimeo via FilmFreeway). WE DO NOT ACCEPT DVD SUBMISSIONS.

- After submitting, please check your FilmFreeway account to make sure that your submission meets our requirements and is 'In Consideration'. It is your responsibility to make sure all requirements are met and necessary information is given.

- Filmmakers are responsible for the shipment of the exhibition copy to BFF. BFF will cover outbound shipping only.

- BFF reserves the right to use images from films selected in Festival marketing purposes (web; print media, and television).

- By agreeing to these terms, you warrant that you have read, understood, and agreed to the regulations of the Bobritsa International Film Festival and that, to the best of your knowledge, the information that you have supplied is correct.

    There is no communication with the participants of the film festival. Our film was marked as Nominated on the day of the start of the film festival, the organizers did not inform about anything/ invited me to come until I myself wrote and began to learn the details about the festival. I don't recommend it. There are many free film festivals that are worthy of attention and take care of their participants
