From the vibrant opening night and red carpet to the brilliantly curated selection of Southeast Asian films, a perfect blend of art and commercial cinema, every moment was a delight. The networking events were fantastic, the outdoor screenings were magical, and the palpable support from the entire Luang Prabang community made it all so special.

It was an unforgettable experience. We truly hope to have the chance to return!

The most important film festival in South East Asia. Truly connected to the region and full of love for cinema and the people making it. If you or your film have any connections to Asia you have to submit.

I would like to express my gratitude to the Blue Chair Film Festival and the team. I can feel how much effort they put into the film festival. From the opening ceremony night, to the various films screened both indoors and outdoors, public discussions, and the closing ceremony, everything was well done by the team. One of my best experiences was watching the films outdoors at the primary school, together with audiences, including kids from Luang Prabang; their reactions and interactions with the films were so directly and cute. There is not a single cinema in Luang Prabang. I wish the Blue Chair Film Festival will continue on its journey to spread the love of films to the community.
