We are a young film festival, created by young, inspired filmmakers for young, inspired filmmakers.

Our mission is to provide emerging filmmakers with more opportunities to showcase their films to a large audience on the big screen. Our venue accommodates 100 people, and the films are projected on a 4-meter wide screen.

We simply want to give aspiring filmmakers a platform to present their films to a broader audience. If your film is selected, it will be shown on the big screen for a live audience.

Awards & Prizes

The winner of the Best Short Film nomination will be awarded an honorary certificate for "The best Short Film of October 2024 at the Blackroom Film Festival".

Rules & Terms

We are quite liberal in our choice of films - you can submit a thriller, comedy, drama or any other genre - but we do have a few rules.
1. We accept only the first or second film in your career.
2. We accept short films (up to 25 minutes) of various genres.
3. Your movie must have subtitles in English.
