Each October for 19 years, Black Bear Film Festival attracts thousands of film goers, filmmakers, and tourists to our beautiful communities in the tri-state area. Our mission is to “entertain, educate, inspire and celebrate our community with great film events.” We honor talented directors, producers, screenwriters, actors, and others who make these great films nationally, locally, and internationally. Producer's, directors, and cast are encouraged to be present at film showing.

In the past, we have hosted such screen icons Tab Hunter, Rex Reed, Jane Powell,
John Doman and Emmy Award winning writer/producer Tom Fontana .

I can't actually review this festival because I didn't attend. I don't think my film actually screened here. I was told it made it to "semi-finalist" but when I contacted the organizers as to what that meant, I did not get a response. It looks like a great little festival, though, and I may submit again.

I just wanna say what an awesome time I had showing my short film "The Run-In" at the Black Bear Film Festival this year. The town of Milford is beautiful and the people are just great. I'll definitely be back next year :-)
We had such a good time.
