Bill Guzik is an American independent filmmaker living and working in Atlanta. Starting as a child, his experience behind the camera spans a few decades with an early focus in documentary filmmaking. His interest in America’s counterculture was the foundation for many of his docs, often working with musicians and skateboarders. His more recent films and music videos explore surrealism and absurdity tethered to dramatic narratives that may leave the audience with questions. His latest release, Misanthropes, is a cinematic collage of modern-day Atlanta. The feature-length film was shot using guerrilla techniques and compiled over the course of four years.
