BiCONIC Film Festival - Taking Up Space!

Submissions Open for the BiCONIC Film Festival!

We center on the Bi+ umbrella, bisexual, pansexual, polysexual, multisexual, fluid, omnisexual, or anyone attracted to more than one gender. We were launched in 2023 by artists and activists who perceived the programming of other LGBTQ+ film festivals as lacking a focus on the bi+ communities!

The event stages a program of independent features, short films, and digital media for two evenings over three months apart.

One evening is attached to Bi Visibility Week in September 2023 and included a happy hour with Still Bisexual and a two hour screening at the historic Roxie Theater, and the other evening begins after the Bi-BQ on the Wednesday before SF Pride in 2026 at the brand new queer theater space called Eclectic Box SF in the former Stage Werx Theater.

We focus primarily on works created from bi+ community perspective, and we hope you will send us your Bi+ content to share with the entire community!

This year's theme is Taking Up Space! So send us your entries about influence, leadership, and unapologetic presence today for inclusion in our June 2026 screening!
