A new week-long film festival in Worthing focusing on the important topics of sustainability and well-being. The festival title reflects the focus of protecting our environment (the blue and the green), and the important space we hold between the two. Through the power of film and practical activities will explore the importance of future proofing our environment ensuring the current and future well-being of human beings as guardians.

The festival will comprise of five events:
• Short film competition for filmmakers and screening.
• Children’s film screening /workshop activity.
• Film screening/ beach clean activity.
• Documentary screening with filmmaker Q&A.
• Film screening with well-being focused activity

This festival will highlight media stories to raise awareness and drive change. Audiences will be inspired to act, protect their own well-being and safeguard the environment for future generations.

This festival will be held in an outdoor venue overlooking Worthing beach.

No monetary awards will be given.

Honors will be granted to select films via Judges' choice.
PDF laurels will be given via email and promoted on social media channels to films that receive awards.

When submitting, please ensure your film does relates to the topic of the festival (sustainability or well-being) and attach a written description outlining this. If you're not sure if your film qualifies, please see the festival description/ category descriptions and/or email with questions.
All films must be in English or have English subtitles..
There are a number of submissions so therefore duration's vary, please check each category.
All submissions must be original pieces for work and by submitting you are agreeing the that you own all the rights to the film (including the music) and the you grant a license Between the Blue and Green festival to screen publicly if chosen.
